The calabash and the bombilla are very common in South America, where mate is widely consumed.
Before using it, fill the calabash with Maté leaves to 3/4, then add hot water.
Leave the calabash filled with hot water to stand overnight, then empty it by gently scraping the inside to remove any residue.

Heat water (between 70°C and 80°C).

Fill the calabash 2/3 full with mate.

Make a pile on the side of the gourd.

Place the bombilla on the hollow side of the gourd.
5.
Pour the hot water along the filter straw to infuse the mate.
Tips: The calabash should be handled with care, avoid shocks and microwaves.
Clean it on first use and then after each use: To do this, rub the water bottle with a mild detergent and a non-abrasive sponge, rinse with water then dry with a cloth.
