Kukicha (茎茶?) is a traditional blend of Japanese green tea with tea stems, the least rich in caffeine of traditional teas.

Composed of four tea pickings (Camellia sinensis).

The first picking is a selection of lower leaves from three-year-old semi-wild plants, picked in the fall.

The second picking is made up of thick strands picked every 10 years in the heart of winter.

The last two pickings are fine sprigs picked each year in March and June.

Kukicha has rich woody and amber nutty flavors with the refreshing notes typical of Japanese teas.

It can be consumed from morning to evening thanks to its low theine content (<0.6%) and as an accompaniment to meals, for the whole family.

Kukicha can be eaten hot, lukewarm, cold or iced and is very popular in macrobiotic food.

It comes from the prestigious terroir of Uji, which produces the most famous teas in Japan.

It has been meticulously cared for from the orchard to your cup.

The bagging is done on site in Japan to guarantee its authenticity and freshness.

This high-performance sachet ensures its preservation in ideal conditions and guarantees perfectly neutral food contact.

4 sachets of 80 g.
